About the Artist

A graduate of Eastern Michigan University in 1973.  Tim has enjoyed a successful business career over the years, whether they be start-up projects or long term ventures.  His love of creating works of art led him to pursue a serious study of oil painting in 2004.  He is now excited to enter the field of oil painting full time. Tim’s work ethic, clear thinking and determination are displayed on the palatte.  He has studied with a number of renowned artists and has traveled the world seeking subject matter.  The beauty and variety of landscapes near his home in San Diego County inspire many of his more recent images.  Plein air painting is where he obtains real life experiences, bringing freshness and clarity to his works.  Please enjoy his offerings.
